Hollifield's is dedicated to providing the best in childcare. We furnish a strong, positive moral structure and Christian-based care for all the children attending our program.

We are located in Spruce Pine, NC... right in the heart of Mitchell County. Our building is less than 5 minutes from most major businesses in Spruce Pine. Our hours of operation are 5:30am to 5:30pm, Monday through Friday. Bus #82 transports children to and from Hollifield's every day that school is in operation. An attendance check is taken directly off the bus. If your child is supposed to arrive at Hollifield's and doesn't, we immediately contact the school and you to determine why.

We are licensed by the North Carolina Division of Child Development under G.S.110-106 as a religious sponsored program. Our staff have criminal background checks and are certified in CPR and First Aid! We have an excellent video surveillance system and top-notch fire alert system. Fire drills are given on a regular basis. All children are under constant guidance and supervision. Be assured that your child's safety is our top priority.

We have a multitude of new computers loaded with a wide array of educational games and learning software. This gives your child useful skills that are a good base for extending their capabilities in today's computer oriented society.

Your child will also have hands-on activities, supervised crafts and cooking. All of which will give your child a strong foundation with skills that are needed in everyday living.

Our facilities include an extra large playground area with swings, slides, monkey bars and similar playground equipment. There is also a basketball goal and a large open area where your child can play and run. This contributes to your child's good health by furnishing them with excercise.
